“ The most delicious Thai boat noodle I've had in Bay Area. This place is a hidden gem and more people need to know!! The portions are very generous and it's like I received a warm hug from my long lost Thai grandma. The workers are very nice and I will definitely be back for more. ”
“ Pretty decent Thai food to go. They have seating inside and outside of the restaurant, but never have eaten here since it's changed owners years ago. People here are always friendly but sometimes it takes a while to get your food depending on how busy they are. One two blocks away from SJSU. ”
“ Such a cute and cozy restaurant. I've been to Thailand a couple times, the food here taste authentic! Try their pad Thai and appetizer, you will be surprised! ”
“ This place is such a hidden gem. I came here during lunch special. Such a nice portion for $12.99. It's also so comfortable to sit inside the restaurant. The deco is very cute. Highly recommended! ”
“ Both my drink and food came in coconuts. That was so fun! The coconut juice is hard to mess up, but the coconut seafood dinner was delicious. They fit so much seafood in there that I had enough to take home leftovers for a second meal, and the sauce was immaculate. Tried the mango ice cream stick rice dessert. I don't think it's the season for mangoes right now because they were sour. And the sticky rice was a bit watery. That was the only dish that wasn't that great. But it was beautiful because it comes in the shape of a heart. ”
“ Best place to get Thai Boat Noodles in the South Bay! I was fortunate enough to grow up with amazing Thai food, so it's hard for me to find something close to "mom's cooking" or Thai food just as good as from Thai Town in LA. Santi Thai Fusion does the job! I recommend the boat noodles with small noodles aka "pho noodles" and with beef. If you can't handle spicy, ask for no spicy or very mild. Thai spicy is a true notion here ifykyk I also like to add vinegar and a hint of sugar from the cute condiments jars for extra sourness and sweet. Definitely save room for their mango sticky rice here! It's also my favorite in the South Bay. The sweet coconut sticky rice pairs very well with the tartness of the mango and extra crunch from the toasted mung bean. Pad see ew is different from what it is typically "know as," but this place is a fusion Thai restaurant so expect different variations of what you think is accurate "Thai Food." I personally liked their take on the pad see ew as well as the crab fried rice. Service is very kind and attentive. ”
“ I have been going to Santi Thai Fusion for many years, even when it had a different name back in the days. I really enjoy the fried chicken over fried rice here because it is crispy and a big portion. I also like the panang curry which is mildly spiced, creamy and quite flavorful. Service is friendly but can be a bit wonky at times with a language barrier or missing items. But it is the food that keeps me coming back. They have lunch specials that start at $12.95 and finding something for less than $15 is getting less and less these days. I love their Thai iced tea as it is creamy, not too bitter and has that nice milky tea flavor I love. Other standouts include the angel wings, the pineapple fried rice and any of the other curry dishes. If you are looking for a small no frills Thai restaurant that is inexpensive and big portions, Santi Thai Fusion checks all of those boxes. ”
“ Decided to try out this spot for Thai food downtown before a show. Parked across the street with street parking. Came here with two of my cousins around 12:30pm on a Sunday. The restaurant is decorated in a cute way and it was clean. We were greeted immediately at the door. The service was prompt and friendly. We shared the pad Thai, papaya salad, pumpkin curry, and each got a Thai iced coffee. We also got a side of rice which turned out to be huge (not just a bowl but a piling plate). The food took around 20 minutes to come out. We asked the server for her suggestion on our spice level, and she told us to get a medium. The medium was not that spicy for our tastes; we could've gone hotter. Pad Thai - The pad thai was bright orange, wet and saucy. The noodles were chewy, which I liked. It leaned on the sweeter side. I like my pad Thai a bit drier than this, but it did not taste bad. It's decent. Papaya salad - The papaya seemed pre-cut instead of freshly cut, and I anticipated more flavors in the sauce if it was mashed in a bowl. However, it was still refreshing. Pumpkin curry - I've never had Thai pumpkin curry before. The consistency was wet, not thick. I think there was coconut milk, so I was surprised with the consistency. The flavor was good. I ate it almost like a soup. I'm a big fan of pumpkin in general so this option was cool to see. Thai iced coffee - This came in a beautiful big cup! It did not taste as strong as a Vietnamese iced coffee, but it was sweet and rich. I saw there was an option to remove ice for one dollar, but I think the ice is necessary so it dilutes the sweetness of the drink. It was a contrast to the flavors of our foods. Overall I would give the spot another try with their other items since the menu is extensive with laab, pad see ew, and other dishes. For three people, this came out to be $90. I'm not sure if the things I ordered were worth a repeat. ”
“ FLAVOR (4/5): Okay my favorite dish that I always get here is the pumpkin curry, they do it so well! The pumpkin is soft and the curry is a bit spicy paired with rice is amazing. The pad thai was subpar, I've had better before so wouldn't necessarily recommend it. We also tried the fried papaya salad and it was super interesting! Flavors were a lot more tame than a normal papaya salad but crunchy! I still prefer traditional papaya salad instead. The coconut ice cream packed a lot of coconut flavor but was supppeerrrrr sweet. INSTAGRAM WORTHY (4/5): The dishes here are decently cute in a homey way! The rice is shaped in a heart, the coconut ice cream was almost like a float, super adorable! The interior of the restaurant looks a bit dated but we always sit outside here. There's real vegetation growing like tomatoes on the porch and really eclectic furnishings. SERVICE (4/5): The owner is always super nice here, she came out to refill our waters and the food didn't take too long either! TAKEAWAYS: Get the pumpkin curry here and thank me later. I'd only come here for the pumpkin curry. Dog friendly covered patio seating! ”
